Security
Why are there terror barriers at the entrances to the festival grounds?
The terror barriers serve to protect all visitors. They prevent unauthorized access and potential hazards from vehicles. This measure was taken in close coordination with the security authorities and is now standard at larger events.
Do I have to expect body checks at the entrance?
Yes. To protect all guests, our security teams will carry out body checks at the entrance. These are carried out professionally and with the greatest possible respect. The aim is to keep dangerous or prohibited objects away from the site. Therefore, please plan some time for admission.
How is the event site secured?
The site is comprehensively secured:

There are clear entrances and exits with access controls.

The area will be supervised and controlled by security personnel before, during and after the event.

Emergency exits and escape routes are freely accessible and marked at all times.

Our security team is trained and in close contact with the police and emergency services.
What am I NOT allowed to bring onto the site?
Prohibited are, among other things:

Tickets and Admission
Where can I get tickets and how much do they cost?
- The ticket price is designed as a standard price of 55.50 EUR/ticket.
- At the festival, the ticket for next year costs 45 EUR.
- There is an early bird ticket. This costs 50 EUR until the end of August.
- Children under 12 years old can enter for free.
- Persons accompanying persons with a severely disabled pass have free admission.
- Tickets are available here above or on Eventim.
- Due to Eventim’s fees, the price is more expensive there.
Can I return or resell my ticket?
- Tickets are not personalized.
- If you are unable to attend, you can resell the ticket.
- Tickets cannot be returned.
What happens if the festival is cancelled?
- In the unlikely event that the festival has to be cancelled, e.g. due to force majeure, we will inform you personally by e-mail and on the known channels and inform you of the further procedure regarding ticket refunds.
When is admission?
- Admission is from 2.30 p.m.
- The program starts at 3:15 p.m.
How long does the festival last?
- The festival lasts one day and ends at 10 p.m. on the festival grounds.
- Afterwards, the after-show party will take place in Pub 18.
What are the admission requirements?
- A valid ticket.
- The Pott of Gold Open Air is designed for everyone who stands for tolerant and diverse coexistence.
- Children under 12 years old can enter for free.
- Young people can celebrate with the well-known “Muttizettel”.
Is there a re-entry?
- Yes. With a festival wristband you will be let back in.
Are there special tickets for accompanied wheelchair users?
Wheelchair users can buy a regular ticket. Upon presentation of the severely disabled person’s pass at the festival entrance, accompanying persons have free admission.
Food and Drink
What is there to eat?
There are currywurst, fries and smashed burgers, also in vegan. We also offer you pizza and crêpes.
What is there to drink?
In addition to delicious Krombacher Pils for 4 EUR (0.4 l), there will also be a stand where you can taste the whiskey specialties and the Paddyhats whiskey of the Fessler Mühle .
We also offer you freshly tapped Guinness as well as ice-cold Somersby Cider in the varieties Orange Spritz, Blackberry and Apple as well as Somersby Cider Zero (non-alcoholic) in Yuzu & Lemon and Apple.
